Terms and Conditions

  1. Terms and Conditions of Hire and Use of Tennis Court / Football Pitch Facilities 
  2. All hirers and users of EastPoint Pitches are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Use as shall be laid down from time to time.
  3. Persons/groups wishing to book the facilities must complete the official Booking Request Form. Booking forms must be submitted to EastPoint Management by email to info@eastpoint.ie or in person to EastPoint Management, Block E, EastPoint, Dublin 3. No booking shall be deemed to exist until such time as receipt of the form and confirmation of the booking is received in writing by the applicant from EastPoint Management.
  4. Please note that block bookings can be made for a period of four weeks only. If the facilities are not required during the period of the block booking failure to cancel with 24 hour’s notice may result in cancellation of the block booking. Bookings are for 55 minutes, finishing 5 minutes before the hour. Bookings can only be made on the hour.
  5. The facilities are for the sole use of occupiers and staff in EastPoint. Members of the public are not permitted under any circumstances.
  6. The hirers undertake that they will inspect the facilities prior to the period for which the facilities are reserved for their use, and in the absence of such inspection the hirers shall be deemed to acknowledge that the facilities are safe and in good working order.
  7. Pre-booked pitch may not be transferred by the Hirer to any other person/group without prior approval from EastPoint Management.
  8. The contact person named in the application/booking form will be the person with whom all official communication from EastPoint Management will take place. If there are any changes in the details of the group organiser/contact person EastPoint Management must be informed immediately. 
  9. One of the contact people named in the Application/Booking form must attend each booked session and will be the person responsible for the group on that occasion, including behaviour of those attending the booking, and adherence to the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Use of the Facility.
  10. All bookings include the time required to prepare, erect, dismantle and remove equipment.
  11. Cancellations: Failure to show on the given hire time for the booking, will result in the group being charged €50 for the hire of the facility.
  12. The maximum number of adult players allowed on the pitch is 10. 
  13. On each booked session the Hirer must register and obtain the key from EastPoint Management Office before playing. The Hirer must have pre booked the pitch and return the key after the session, do not give the key to the next group. 
  14. No items should be taken on to the pitch except those needed to play the activity for which the facility was booked. Drinks, tracksuit tops etc. should be left at the side in the interests of user safety. 
  15. Steel studded boots are not allowed. Footwear must be either running shoes or trainers. 
  16. No stick games are allowed on the pitch. 
  17. No glass containers or bottles, smoking or chewing gum are allowed in any area in or around the pitch. 
  18. All jewellery should be removed before playing in the interests of player safety. 
  19. Alcohol or drugs are not allowed in or around the pitch and no person who is in the opinion of the EastPoint Management are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be admitted or allowed on or near the facility.
  20. Money/valuables should be left in a safe area and not in an open area at any time.
  21. EastPoint Management accepts no responsibility for items lost/stolen on the premises and/or grounds, or for any loss, damage, or injury occurring in or in the vicinity of the pitch, or for any injuries to persons participating in any activity in or on its facilities.
  22. Any damage done to facilities, property, or equipment, fair wear and tear excepted, must be made good by the individual, group, club or organisation responsible for the damage.
  23. Climbing on the nets, swinging from crossbars and any other behaviour likely to lead to damage to the facility or injury is forbidden and will lead to immediate expulsion from the facility
  24.  The facilities can be booked between the hours of 7am to 10pm. All activity must cease by 10pm.
  25. Persons using the facility must be attired according to their intended activity. 
  26. No activity, which could be misconstrued or give offence to other patrons, or to surrounding neighbours, will be permitted.
  27. Special consideration must be given to companies near the facility. No excessive noise, conduct or general nuisance will be tolerated and offending users will be removed. Supervising personnel must be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Use and have the authority to remove users from the facility. Non acceptance of supervisory personnel’s decisions or any aggression or violence towards supervisory personnel will not be tolerated and may result in the removal of those involved from the premises and the cancellation of all future bookings. 
  28. Only players are permitted inside the pitch during a booking time. For safety reasons children under the age of 18 are not allowed inside during a booked session. 
  29. No use will be permitted outside the operational hours of the pitch. Anyone breaching this rule will be removed. EastPoint Management may involve the Gardaí in enforcing this and other rules. 
  30. EastPoint Management decisions on admission, allocation, use, operation, or closure of the facilities is final.
  31. EastPoint reserve the right to:
  32. Introduce, amend or delete such rules as may be required from time to time due to the needs of the service or due to changing circumstances
  33. Levy charges and fees as it considers appropriate for the use of facilities or services, and to alter such charges or fees at their sole discretion
  34. Refuse admission or the continued use of the facilities to any person or group who in their opinion are in breach of any management rule, or whose behaviour is such that it interferes with the safe, efficient operation of the facility
  35. Close the facilities for maintenance repair, holidays, or for any other reason. Where such closure occurs no claim shall lie against EastPoint in respect of loss or inconvenience, or any other damage suffered. 
  36. EastPoint expressly point out that all persons using the facilities do so at their own risk. Users are strongly advised to seek medical advice before undertaking exercise. Users with any known medical condition should consult with their doctor before participating in any form of exercise.

RichmondPro Badminton Centre members (hereinafter referred as “PRO”), guests, court rental players and coaches (hereinafter referred as “participants”) must thoroughly review all our rules and regulations before using the PRO facility. These rules & regulations are designed to allow all participants to enjoy the new facility in a way that will be safe and productive. PRO management reserves the right to vary and revoke these Rules & Regulations from time to time, in addition, to make, vary and revoke any by-laws which be may consider necessary or desirable for the regulation of the internal affairs of the Club and the conduct of the participants. Any such changes will be notified to participants immediately.

  1. Participants must make advance court reservations prior to play at PRO. Reservations can be made by telephone or directly in person at the PRO reception counter. All fees, where applicable, must be paid before use of the relevant courts or facilities. No-show fees, as informed by the Club, will be charged where cancellation is not received by the Club by at least 48 hours prior to the booked time, where the facility cannot be booked to other participants.
  2. Participants must check-in at the PRO reception counter. Please verify your booking time when checking in. A PRO staff member must confirm the booking.
  3. Day time drop-in play is divided in two 3 hour time slots, from 9 am to 12 pm, and from 12 pm to 3 pm. Participants must pay the required fee prior to play in either one of these first time slots. If a participant overruns from the first to the second time slot, he/she will be required a secondary fee to continue.
  4. PRO Management reserves the right to limit the number of  drop-in participants and court rental players to use the facility at any time.
  5. All coaching is controlled by PRO and should be arranged with its knowledge and consent. Coaching is undertaken by qualified coaches appointed by the Club and no other coach-
  6. PRO reserves the right at any time without prior notice to set aside facilities for tournaments, exhibitions and other social activities.
  7. PRO cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason. PRO reserves the right to make alterations to the type of facilities provided, without notice and in its absolute discretion and the Club shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except in so far as such loss is by law incapable of exclusion.
  8. Participants are not allowed to bring any outside food and drinks to the PRO facility. Anyone who violates this policy will have to dispose the outside food or drinks immediately or be required to leave PRO premises immediately without refund.
  9. Only food or drinks purchased at the PRO snack bar are allowed but must all be consumed in the designated areas within the facility. ABSOLUTELY no food or drinks are allowed on the playing area and badminton court mats.
  10. PRO pro shop merchandises and services are sold “as-is” without any warranty.
  11. PRO does not allow smoking, gum chewing, animals or weapons in the facility.  Anyone found to be violating this policy will be required to leave the PRO premises immediately without refund and may be barred from entering the PRO premises in the future.
  12. Children under the age of 12 must be under adult supervision at all times. Children over the age of 7 may not enter changing rooms or other areas reserved for the opposite sex, regardless of whether they are accompanied by an adult.
  13. PRO is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Items left on the premise will be kept for up to 7 days and donated to charity if not claimed.
  14. Participants should not use any piece of the gym equipment without prior instruction. PRO will not be responsible for any injuries as a result of the participant using the gym equipment.
  15. Participants must at all times observe PRO’s by-laws and guidelines which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the management may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the Club for the convenience of participants.
  1. Participants are subject to the control and guidance of the PRO staff, and must follow their instructions while in the facility. Participants agree to conduct themselves in a quiet and well-mannered fashion when in the club and not cause any disturbances or interfere with the safe use or enjoyment of the club by other participants.
  2. The development and use of appropriate language is promoted. Obscene language, gestures, swearing, profanity, blasphemy, and other offensive behavior any kind is not allowed.  Harassment is forbidden.
  3. Participants shall not conduct,purchase or subscribe to any commercial business or activity on club premises or solicit other participants for any reason without the club’s prior written consent. Under no circumstances shall participants interfere with the club’s conduct of its business. Any complaints, other than those of an emergency nature or requiring immediate attention by the PRO staff, shall be made directly to the management in private.
  1. Participants are requested to wear suitable sport exercise clothing while at the PRO facility. PRO management reserves the right to deny entry to the club by any person whose attire is considered by the PRO staff to be inappropriate in connection with the public image of the club and its rules and regulations. No profane language or slogans on any attire is permitted in the club.
  2. Participants must wear appropriate light colored sole (both non-marking and non-black sole), in-door sports, or badminton shoes ONLY while playing on the badminton courts.  No bare feet/flip flops/hiking shoes/smart casual shoes allowed on the badminton court mats. Participants found violating this policy will have to leave the PRO premises immediately and will not be entitled to any refund. Non-marking black/dark sole shoes are not allowed.
  1. Participants should consult with their physician before using our services and facilities. Participants must understand and acknowledge that PRO staff has no expertise in diagnosing, examining or treating any medical condition.
  2. Participants agree that they will not use the PRO facility with any medical condition including infections, maladies or inability to maintain personal hygiene, if such condition poses a direct health or safety of other Participants, and agree they will use the facility in accordance with all applicable public health requirements. PRO management reserves the right, however, to make the final determination in this regard.
